Imbue
We wanted a typeface like this for a side project but couldn't find one that felt right. So, we made Imbue. The result is something crisp and curvy with two variable axes: weight and optical size. Imbue is our first typeface to include a variable optical size. Can you use the intended "10pt" (legible at small sizes) style with huge text? Absolutely. Can you use the super fine "100pt" style with tiny text? Yeah why not.
And sure, this thing is dripping with class and has some OpenType features that might make you oooh and aaaah, but Imbue is anything but subtle. Even the thinnest weight with hairline serifs has attitude. Basically we're dying to see what you make with this unique flexible face. Imbue comes in static styles for desktop and web as well as a single variable font and has received several updates since its release in August of 2018. Thanks to Google Fonts it now exists in libre form with an Open Font License and is available on Github.
